2 Hospitalized After Falling Tree Strikes Cars On Route 15 In Orange

Two cars were struck by the falling tree, according to officials.

ORANGE, CT — Two people were hospitalized after a tree fell across the roadway on Route 15 North in Orange, Milford Battalion Chief and Public Information Officer Adam Hansen said in an update Thursday morning.

The falling tree struck two cars, and two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to Hansen.

Hansen said the route is expected to be shut until around 11:30 a.m. while crews clear the roadway.

(Original post) ORANGE, CT — Part of Route 15 North in Orange is closed because of a fallen tree, according to officials.

Route 15 North is closed between Exits 55B and 56 due to the tree that has fallen across the travel lanes, according to Connecticut State Police.
