Haven Hot Chicken Opening Orange Location

ORANGE, CT — Nashville-style chicken is coming to Orange June 18. Haven Hot Chicken will open its second location at 550 Boston Post Road near TJ Maxx and Trader Joe's.

The restaurant will host a grand opening celebration June 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring a stilt walker, face painter and more.

Haven Hot Chicken's first location is on Whitney Avenue in New Haven. The menu features chicken sandwiches, vegetarian options, chicken and waffles, chicken tenders and family options.

“Since our opening in downtown New Haven in the fall of 2020, our guests have been asking us to expand and bring our unique and delicious offerings to another market in the area,” said Craig Sklar, Haven Hot Chicken co-founder in a statement. “It was crucial to the team that we hold off until we found the perfect location, which we absolutely did here in Orange on the Post Rd, and we are excited to join this new community."

The restaurant's signature chicken sandwich was voted the state's best chicken sandwich in Connecticut Magazine's annual reader poll.
