Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Orange Crash: State Police

The crash occurred on July 4 on Route 15 near exit 56.

ORANGE, CT — A 29-year-old Waterbury man suffered serious injuries on Saturday when the motorcycle he was operating collided with a pickup truck southbound on Route 15 in Orange, according to state police. No other injuries were reported.

Terry Anderson was thrown off of the motorcycle in the crash, which occurred just before 6 p.m., and was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately available.

According to state police, Anderson's motorcycle rear-ended the pickup truck in the left lane, which was driven by Jacinth Stevenson, 54, of Woodbridge. After the pickup truck was hit, it veered to the left and struck the metal median.
