New Travel Center Approved In Orange: Here's What To Know

The approval includes multiple developments on the property.

ORANGE, CT — The town Plan and Zoning Commission approved a proposed development of a travel center with drive-thru facility and an electric vehicle showroom at a meeting earlier this month.

The site at 88 Marsh Hill Road consists of 4.52 acres and the proposal includes an 8,400-square-foot travel center which includes a coffee, sandwich, and ice cream shop with a drive-thru and outside patio dining, according to meeting minutes.

There will be 16 fuel pumps and eight electric car chargers.

There is also a proposed 27,500-square-foot electric vehicle showroom proposed too, meeting minutes state, which includes 96-parking spaces.

The project was approved unanimously.
