Obituary: Nancy A. Christensen, 85, Of Orange

ORANGE, CT — Nancy A. Christensen, age 85, of Orange, beloved wife of the late Henry E. Christensen, Sr. entered peaceful rest on April 30, 2024 at her home.

She was born on December 16, 1938 in New Haven and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Docina (Marrotte) Vachon. Nancy was a secretary at the Knights of Columbus in New Haven for 60 years before her retirement. She was a parishioner of Holy Infant Church and a member of the Ladies Guild and an active member of the Orange Senior Center for many years.

Nancy is survived by her children, David H. Christensen and his wife Cathy, Elaine Bataille, Janet Serra all of Milford and Deborah Massaro and her husband Anthony of Florida, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, including Raymond and Lorry Polizzi and Brenda and Mark Prokop. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Henry E. Christensen, Jr. and her sisters, Patricia Frith, Susan Smith, and Doris Tufano, and her brother Norman Vachon.
