Tyler had a warm welcoming smile on his face, sometimes with an awkward introductory gesture. Once you got to know him you could immediately tell how bright and intelligent he was. Tyler was a sincere and kind human being. He was always willing to help and lend a hand to anybody in need. If he was your friend, he was a loyal friend. There were very few topics he would not be able to speak about. It would immediately become apparent that Tyler had an insatiable appetite for knowledge. He was very well read and worldly.

He pursued everything with passion, with the intent to master it and be the best at it. Tyler took an interest in woodworking early on, and before long he was buying professional equipment to make and sell exotic wood cutting boards and custom-made bowls. This was all self-taught and self-purchased by earning money from a landscaping business that he started when he was 14 years old. He had other hobbies that would come and go, photography, gardening, bike riding, cooking, and growing exotic mushrooms for cooking to name a few. All with that same all-in passion and quest to be the best. He was truly a special unique soul.
