Orange Community Farmers' Market Starts Thursday

The Orange Community Farmers' Market will run from June through September and will include various vendors, food trucks and entertainment.

ORANGE, CT – Orange Community Farmers’ Market staff are gearing up to open the farmers market to the community on Thursday.

The Orange Community Farmers Market runs from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 29.

It will run every Thursday from June to September under the Pavilion at High Plains, 525 Orange Center Rd.

Products available at the farmers’ market include bakery products, eggs, flowers, milk, meats, soaps, plants, in-season vegetables, and arts and crafts and services.

There will be entertainment at the farmers’ market, starting with Boogie Chillun on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. under the Gazebo. Other entertainment includes Big Tom of the Elwoods on July 6, Sister Funk on July 13, Take Two on July 20, Penny Lane on Aug. 10, and Richard Badowski Blues Band on Aug. 31.

Currently, there are 13 full-time vendors at the farmers’ market, including Angela’s Kitchen, The Dog Bone, Oronoque Farms, Sunshine Sweets and Wave Hill Breads.

Also featured at the farmers’ market are food trucks, including New Haven Pizza, Bella Cannoli Truck, Cousin’s Main Lobster and Mad Mike’s Cheesesteaks.
