Orange PD Seeks Witnesses, Information On Hit-And-Run Crash

The crash, in which a motorcycle was rear-ended, occurred on Tuesday on Derby Avenue (Rt. 34) at Birchwood Road.

ORANGE, CT — The Orange Police Department is asking for the public's help in investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred at about 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, on Derby Avenue (Rt. 34) at Birchwood Road in Orange.

"The collision was caused by a small, white newer vehicle that collided into the rear of a motorcycle and propelled it into 2 other stopped vehicles," Orange police wrote on Facebook.

After the crash, the white vehicle fled the scene; additional details about the collision were not disclosed.
