Orange PD Year-End Statistics Released

Officers made nearly 400 criminal arrests during 2022 and responded to more than 45,000 calls for service.

ORANGE, CT — Orange police took more than 500 larceny reports, made 30 DUI arrests and had more than 45,000 total calls for service during a busy 2022.

Below are the year-end numbers from Chief Robert Gagne.

  • Calls for service: 45,097
  • Robberies: 14
  • Motor vehicle thefts: 23
  • Criminal arrests: 389
  • DUI arrests: 30
  • Shoplifting/larcenies: 536
  • Fights/disturbances: 263
  • Traffic crashes: 883
  • Motor vehicle citations issued: 934
  • Medical emergencies: 1,781
  • Activated burglar alarms: 1,182
