ORANGE, CT — As the 2023 municipal elections get closer in Orange, there are plenty of races with candidates who are eager to serve in elected office.

Orange Patch asked candidates to answer questions about their campaigns and will publish candidate profiles as Election Day draws near.

Ken Lenz, 74, is running for a seat on the Town Planning and Zoning Commission in Orange as a Democratic candidate.

Lenz holds a J.D. in Legal Jurisprudence and is a recently retired attorney.

Lenz's family includes his spouse, Marianne Miller, and children Ericka Lenz and Bradley Lenz, and four grandchildren.

Former Selectman, Town of Orange.

Why are you seeking this office?

To preserve and improve the Post Road corridor and affordable housing.

The current Commission approved change of use of Sears Plaza to a distribution center.
