There's a new Troop in Milford

Girls ages 11-17 are invited to come visit and learn about scouting

Scouting of America is excited to announce a girl troop will be opening in Milford. This new girl troop will be partnered with the boy troop all under the title of Troop 1, which has a long history in Milford. Jessica Zamachaj of Orange will be scoutmaster and is looking forward to the beginning of the Troop. As a veteran educator and scouter since 2020 she has experience in leading youth to become the leaders, they all can be. As summer is in full swing, the Troop will start in September. We will have an open house on September 17th at 7pm at the Egan Center in Milford. You can visit, talk with Mrs. Zamachaj, see how a troop works, engage in activities and ask questions. If you would like to join our boy troop for summer activities, please let the scoutmaster know. Please feel free to email Mrs. Zamachaj at [email protected] with any questions.
