RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Rotary Club Of Ridgefield has named Dan O'Brien "Citizen of the Year."

The motto of the Rotarians is "Service Above Self," and Rotary officials cited O'Brien for "always willing to go the extra mile, quietly and never seeking accolades."

A 30-year resident of Ridgefield, O'Brien serves as:

  • Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce, past president, and current Board member
  • RVNAhealth Board member, currently serving on the Finance, Investment and Audit Committees
