Fourth Of July Prompting Change To Vernon Trash Schedule
The July 4 holiday is changing the Vernon trash collection schedule.
VERNON, CT — The town of Vernon has released the July 4 trash and recycling schedule.
The Vernon Public Works Department will be closed on Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
Trash and recycling will not be collected on the 4th, but will instead be collected on Friday, July 5, along with that day's regular collection.
