Vernon Detectives Investigating Wednesday Bank Robbery

VERNON, CT — Police in Vernon are investigating a mid-week bank robbery on Route 30.

At about 1:11 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to a report of a robbery at the branch of Key Bank at 348 Hartford Turnpike, the local address for that part of Route 30.

The bandit fled the area prior to officers arriving.

No injuries were reported.
