Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Crash At Henry Park In Vernon

VERNON, CT — A motorcycle crash in the entrance to Henry Park Sunday afternoon necessitated the operator to be flown to a hospital via LifeStar helicopter.

The crash occurred around 4:08 p.m., and police located a man lying in the roadway of Henry Park Way. He sustained serious injuries, Capt. Luke Gallant said.

Vernon police and Metro Traffic Services are investigating the crash, and no charges have been filed at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Vernon Police Department at 860-872-9126.
