Revival Sound worship band to perform in Rockville on April 5

Jacob's Well Christian Coffeehouse is halfway through its 29th year

Jacob's Well Christian Coffeehouse will feature the Revival Sound worship band from Southington on Friday, April 5. The event will be held at The Oasis, the cozy, renovated 1800s storefront at 3 Elm Street in the historic Rockville section of Vernon. Doors will open at 7 p.m., with the music starting at 7:30 p.m. Admission and refreshments are free. The event is open to the public.

Revival Sound is a four-piece contemporary praise and worship band consisting of vocals, acoustic and lead guitar, bass and drums. The band plays at festivals, coffeehouses, revival meetings, and churches across Connecticut. This is their first appearance at Jacob's Well.

Founded in 1995, Jacob's Well is patterned after the original "Jesus Movement" coffeehouses in the 1960s and 1970s. Except for a six-month period when it closed during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, the monthly coffeehouse has been operating steadily for 29 years. Altogether, about 350 events have been held.
