Hallmark Movie Filming In Wethersfield
Hallmark has transformed part of Wethersfield into the Christmas season to shoot a movie.
WETHERSFIELD, CT — The temperature in Connecticut has dropped over the past week, but some parts of Old Wethersfield look more like January thanks to artificial snow. Hallmark is filming Christmas On Honeysuckle Lane in town.
The movie is based on a novel by Mary Elizabeth McDonough. Actress Alicia Witt will star, according to ET.
The movie will premiere Nov. 19 on the Hallmark Channel. The story is about a woman named Emma celebrating Christmas for the last time with her siblings in their childhood home. Emma is put in charge of the home's belongings after her parents pass away.

A hidden surprise leads the family to discover the power of love and family during the holidays, according to Hallmark's synopsis.
Connecticut seems to be one of Hallmark's favorite filming locations. Movies have filmed in Old Lyme and North Haven. Melissa Joan Hart also filmed a Christmas movie in Mystic.
