Wethersfield Obituary: David Larson, 53

David L. Larson passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at his home in Irvine, California.

David was born November 3, 1964 and raised in Connecticut. He also was a past resident of Rhode Island. David graduated from Wethersfield High School, where he was active as a drummer in the band and a member of the golf team. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a mathematics degree from the University of Connecticut. He also received an MBA degree from Bryant College in Rhode Island.

David had a successful career in the insurance Actuarial field with his last ten years as a senior Vice President. David was an avid golfer and follower of the Hartford Whalers, UConn football and basketball. Although he lived in CA, he never missed a family gathering.

He was a member of St. John Neumann church in Irvine, CA and an active participant in Catholic service and prayer groups. David was always generous with his time and money for those he found in need.

David is survived by his parents, Linda and Joseph Brislin of Wethersfield; brothers, Michael of Wethersfield and Christopher and wife Lindsay of North Attleboro, MA; four nieces and nephews, Henry, Charlotte, Camilla, and Grant; and countless cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, June 23 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Parish (Corpus Christi Church), 601 Silas Deane Hwy., Wethersfield.
