Middlebury Resident Wins Big Lottery Prize

MIDDLEBURY, CT — A winning lottery ticket worth $25,000 was recently sold in Middlebury, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Middlebury resident, who wished to remain anonymous, won $25,000 on a ticket that was sold at Cumberland Farms at 1680 Straits Turnpike in Middlebury, according to Lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
