13-Year-Old Girl Hit By Truck, Dies In Apollo Beach: FL Highway Patrol

A 13-year-old girl died after being hit by a truck in Apollo Beach Saturday night, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

APOLLO BEACH, FL — A 13-year-old girl died after being hit by a truck in Apollo Beach Saturday night, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

The girl walked into the path of the truck, which was heading north on U.S. Highway 41 north of Big Bend Road, just before 11 p.m.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, FHP said.
