Chesterbrook Academy in Coconut Creek Celebrates Earth Day

Students celebrated Earth Day by learning about recycling, releasing ladybugs and creating art from recycled materials

On April 22, students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Coconut Creek celebrated Earth Day with a variety of environmentally friendly activities. Students released ladybugs into their schoolyard to act as a natural pesticide and learned about recycling by creating art out of recycled items, as well as picking up and sorting recyclable items that were placed around their playground. Chesterbrook Academy teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at an early age.
