Ways to watch:

Giving Back to Our Veterans

Special Veterans Day appreciation bags will be distributed between 2pm - 6pm on Wednesday, November 11 curbside at the Boca Raton Community Center (150 Crawford Blvd). Bags include a special commemorative medallion, mugs, coupons and discounts from area businesses and restaurants, informational brochures and pamphlets from veteran assistance organizations and more.

Recreational Facilities: Amended Hours

All parks, beaches, beachfront parks and playgrounds are open.

The following recreational facilities have amended hours for the Veterans Day holiday on Wednesday, November 11 ONLY.

  • The Swim Center | 7:30am – 5pm
  • Meadows Park Pool | 10am – 6:45pm
  • The Racquet Center | 7:30am – 10pm
  • Boca Raton Tennis Center | 8am – 9pm
  • Patch Reef Park Tennis Center | 7:30am – 10pm
  • Tim Huxhold Skate Park & Shuffleboard Courts | 1pm – 5pm
  • Alan C. Alford Red Reef Family Golf Course | 7:30am – sunset
  • Boca Raton Municipal Golf Course | 7am – sunset
  • Sugar Sand Community Center | 10am - 5pm (For Permits Only)
  • Boca Raton Community Center | CLOSED
  • James A. Rutherford Community Center | CLOSED
  • Downtown & Spanish River Libraries | CLOSED.

Visitors should wear facial coverings when social distancing cannot be maintained and are encouraged to practice safety and hygiene as recommended by the CDC and Florida Department of Health.

Playgrounds and park facilities will be for "use at your own risk." Visitors should be prepared with hand sanitizer and other necessary cleaning wipes to ensure little hands are cleaned before and after play.
