Temple Beth El To Present Annual Project Nuremberg Program Online
In lieu of the usual luncheon, multiple virtual events will take place from late May through October.

Temple Beth El of Boca Raton will once again present their annual Project Nuremberg program, this year in lieu of the traditional lawyer’s luncheon featuring world famous speakers, they have pivoted to an enriching selection of virtual programs spanning five months from May 2021 through October 2021. These programs will provide incredible opportunities for attorneys, judges, civil rights & social justice leaders and the community-at-large to learn from the legacy of the Nuremberg Trials and how those lessons are still relevant today.

“Project Nuremberg,” was created in 2010 by the temple’s Rabbi Jessica Spitalnic Mates in partnership with Lynn University and the South Palm Beach County Bar Association, when she rescued from the university’s first-edition set of the "Blue Series," the 42-volume record of the official proceedings of the Nuremberg Trials, published back in 1947. They continue to be an inspiration for this program which is a reminder of the power of law in confronting evil and bringing justice to a post-Holocaust world.
“Every year hundreds of people come to Project Nuremberg in person at Temple Beth El to hear amazing speakers who keep alive the legacy of justice created at the Nuremberg trials. What is just as compelling is that our headlines today are filled with situations that confront the evil that the Nuremberg trials confronted 75 years ago. Moving online means that an even larger audience can hear our incredible speakers, Florida attorneys can get CLE‘s for these events and all of us can learn the power of justice and good in the world from the greatest minds who will be our speakers,” said Rabbi Mates.

May 27 - 7:00 pm: The Landmark Case Against the Nazis and White Supremacists who Attacked Charlottesville, with IFA Executive Director Amy Spitalnick and attorneys Roberta Kaplan and Karen Dunn - Free, registration required.
