Brianna Biddiscombe fills your food soul with some of the best spots in Boca Raton!

Boca Raton is an up and coming, vibrant city in the heart of South Florida. Known for its beaches and yummy restaurants, Boca is great for young adults and millennials. With Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in the heart of the city, Boca attracts all the unique spots for this college town. You will always find new and delicious restaurants in this South Florida hub

1- New York Grilled Cheese
In one of the quaint shopping centers of Boca Raton, you can find the most savory grilled cheese spot in South Florida. New York Grilled Cheese puts a twist on your typical cheesy sandwich. The intimate restaurant is filled with NYC decor and the food is served on old newspapers. This unique grilled cheese sandwich has mac and cheese stuffed in between two pieces of garlic buttered waffled toast. Also, don't forget to add the sweet potato fries with creamy marshmallow dipping sauce to your order!

2- Cinnaholic
For all my fellow sugar addicts, Cinnaholic is the place for you. Don’t worry vegans, we didn’t forget about you, this place is totally egg and dairy free! Too good to be true? Check it out for yourself. At Cinnaholic, you literally build your own cinnamon roll. With a huge selection of flavors, I guarantee you will find something that suits your palate.

3- Yard House
Yard House is the perfect restaurant for a huge group of picky eaters. The menu has a variety of items and absolutely delicious. Another great perk of Yard House is the ungodly selection of beer on draft. Yard House has over 50+ selection of beers ranging from Bud Light to unique IPA’s. So cheers to that!

4- Ramen Lab & Eatery
Who doesn’t love the salty, soupy goodness of ramen. At Ramen Lab and Eatery near Mizner Park, offers unique Ramen and poke options. Additionally, at Ramen Lab, all of their noodles are made from scratch at each location. This place is also perfect if you are just getting out of class or want a late night spot with your friends because Ramen Lab doesn't close until 12am! Ramen is ideal at all hours of the day, okay?

5- Louie Bossi
One of my personal favorites in the area is Louie Bossi. Louie Bossi is a trendy Italian restaurant near Palmetto Park Beach. The menu consists of unique flavorful twists on your typical Italian meals. Also, ALL pasta is homemade! This is not a drill, every single pasta noodle is made in house every single day. Louie Bossi is also the perfect spot for Sunday’s boozy brunch and birthday’s. Bottomless Mimosas and Bellinis for only $12, count me in!

6- Playa Bowls
You can’t go to the beach or finish a workout without a refreshing acai bowl. The newest addition to South Florida’s juice chronicles is Playa Bowls. Originated from New Jersey, Playa Bowls made their debut in Boca Raton about 6 months ago and are already adding another location at Deerfield Beach. Going to Playa Bowls is a MUST. Playa bowls have many different bases and toppings for an acai bowl that is unique to you.

7- Rocco’s Tacos
You bet we saved the best for last! Oh good old Rocco’s, your Sangria and frozen margarita have gotten the best of out of most of us. Rocco’s Tacos is the spot for Mexican food in Boca Raton. Located right outside the Town Center Mall, Rocco’s Tacos is by far the best spot for millennial. The authentic atmosphere, table side guacamole and attractive servers, Rocco’s Tacos is the best spot for Taco Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and you bet, Monday!
