Occupation:

My journey includes roles as Dean of Students at Southeast High School and as a
psychotherapist with Centerstone and Child Protective Services. These experiences have
equipped me with invaluable skills in community engagement and support, particularly for
disadvantaged families and youth.

What do you think are the top three issues the school district is currently facing?

One of the biggest challenges facing our community is Public Safety. As your council member, I
will prioritize building trust between law enforcement and the community. By partnering with
local ministers and establishing proactive programs, we can ensure that our youth view law
enforcement as protectors and allies.

Affordable Housing is another critical issue. I advocate for practical solutions that prioritize
durability and affordability over luxury. By making strategic material choices, we can provide
stable housing that enhances our quality of life.

Redevelopment and Revitalization are key to economic growth and improving living standards. I
will work to foster partnerships between government and private sectors to invest in our
community’s future.

Additionally, addressing issues like the aging water infrastructure is crucial for public health. I
am committed to finding sustainable solutions that ensure safe water for all residents.

I am ready to serve Bradenton in a larger capacity because I believe in our community’s
potential. Together, let’s build a brighter future for Ward 5.
