Three students at Neptune Beach Elementary received the surprise of a lifetime yesterday when their mom, Petty Officer Langley, showed up at their school. While the students led the pledge of allegiance at what they thought was a brief ceremony in honor of Military Child Month, school officials snuck Langley in to surprise her third, fourth, and fifth graders. The presence of their mother left the children speechless and in tears.

Petty Officer Langley was stationed on the USS Philippine Sea (CG-58) for 10 months before returning home.
