Jacksonville Mom 'Always Knows How To Light Up Any Room She Walks In'

JACKSONVILLE, FL— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your Mom extra special?

My mom is special to me because she always knows how to light up any room she walks in. No matter how hard of a day she may have had, she always finds a way to keep a smile on her face. She is one of the strongest women I’ve ever met and if I could choose another mom, I would go back and choose her 10 times over again.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

My mom deserves the spotlight because I feel like she deserves nothing less than. My mom has beat cancer, fought two heart attacks and multiple surgeries, yet being so strong and positive for her two kids the WHOLE time. When life has let her down, she managed to somehow fight and stay up. Her crown never even tilted. Again, she deserves the spotlight because I feel like she’s never had the best of luck — yet deserves it.
