Lowe's stores across the Tampa Bay region are playing host to job fairs in hopes of filling more than 200 positions.

LAND O’ LAKES, FL — Tampa Bay job seekers with a passion for home improvement may want to check out Lowe’s job fairs, set to take place Thursday and Friday across the region. The retailer wants to fill more than 200 open positions at its 16 stores in the area.

The 200 jobs in the Tampa Bay area are part of the chain’s plan to add 3,000 employees statewide to assist communities as they recover from Hurricane Irma. The open jobs include seasonal, part- and full-time positions at 16 stores. Roles include cashiers, customer service, delivery drivers, sales specialists and loaders.

Applicants who attend Thursday and Friday’s job fairs will find open interviews and on-the-spot job offers being made to qualified candidates, according to a media release from the company. Interested applicants should bring their Social Security cards and government-issued photo identifications, such as drivers licenses, with them.
