Bilirakis To Lead Virtual Town Hall On Dementia, Coronavirus

Congressman Gus Bilirakis and the Alzheimer's Association team up to address coronavirus concerns for seniors with dementia

PALM HARBOR, FL — The Alzheimer's Association is hosting a Virtual Town Hall featuring Congressman Gus Bilirakis and the Florida Department of Elder Affairs Secretary Richard Prudom. This event will give participants a unique opportunity to hear from the Congressman on many current federal issues facing our country today, as well as a look into the “Reopen Florida” plan and the challenges our elder population is experiencing in our state with Secretary Prudom.

Topics of discussion will include both the federal and state responses to COVID-19, as well as useful tips and resources to help dementia caregivers cope through the current crisis. The event will also include a Q&A session during which attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.
