SARASOTA, FL — A crash has shut down a section of Tuttle Avenue Thursday afternoon, the Sarasota Police Department wrote in a Facebook post.

The northbound and southbound lanes are closed from Fruitville Road to 10th Street.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area and seek an alternate route, police said.
