Daytime Lane Closures Set Near U.S. 41-Gulfstream Roundabout: Sarasota

SARASOTA, FL — Drivers can expect temporary daytime lane closures near the U.S. 41-Gulfstream Avenue roundabout Wednesday through Friday, the city of Sarasota shared on Facebook.

The following lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

  • The outside lane on U.S. 41 between Gulfstream Avenue and Main Street on Wednesday.
  • The outside lane on U.S. 41 between Gulfstream Avenue and Fruitville Road Wednesday through Friday.

The temporary lane closures are necessary while Florida Department of Transportation crews clean and inspect underground storm drainage pipes and pour a concrete driveway that connects to U.S. 41 at 1st Street, the city said.
