Dr. Fauci, ‘Gronk,’ Others To Speak At Sarasota’s Ringling College

SARASOTA, FL — Dr. Anthony Fauci, four-time Super Bowl champion Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski and actress Glenn Close are among those who will speak during the Ringling College Library Association’s 44th Town Hall lecture series in 2025.

“Town Hall 2025 will feature the best of the best from the diverse fields of acting, sports, science, national security, and global public health,” Lauren Kurnov, executive director, said. “Our 2025 season promises to be not only entertaining but also thought provoking, informative, and inspiring.”

The series kicks off Jan. 13, 2025 with Close, a film, television and theater store known for her roles in “Fatal Attraction” and “Damages.

Gronkowski, who retired from the NFL in 2022 after two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will take the stage Feb. 3, 2025.

Astrophysicist, folklorist and science communicator Dr. Moiya McTier comes to Ringling March 10, 2025.

Former National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster will share insights from his career on March 31, 2025.

The series ends April 14, 2025 with Dr. Fauci, who served as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases during the COVID-19 pandemic.
