Siesta Beach Among Best Beaches In U.S., World: TripAdvisor

SARASOTA, FL — Sarasota’s Siesta Beach is among the best beaches in the United States and the world for 2023, according to TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best awards.

Siesta Beach landed at the No. 2 spot in the U.S., while ranking at No. 11 globally.

The list was compiled by analyzing tens of millions of reviews submitted by global travelers over the past 12 months.

Based on reviews, TripAdvisor described Siesta Beach as a “pristine beach that never seems to end. Photographer's dream. A place in the sun that warrants returning again and again.”

On the U.S. list, the Sarasota-area beach was bested only by Ka’anapali Beach in Lahaina, Hawaii, which nabbed the No. 1 spot.

Other Florida beaches to make the top 25 list include:

• No. 6 - Henderson Beach State Park in Destin
• No. 13 – St. Augustine Beach
• No. 14 – St. Pete Beach
• No. 18 – Panama City Beach
• No. 20 – Pensacola Beach
• No. 22 – Sombrero Beach in Marathon
• No. 23 – Clearwater Beach in Clearwater
