Grand Flag March

Project Pride will lead a march of the largest progressive pride flag in the U.S. — it measures 700-feet long — across Sarasota’s Ringling Bridge on Saturday, 9 a.m. The group says the march is a protest of restrictions by Gov. Summer Youth Music Festival

Youth musicians will take the stage at The Factory in St. Petersburg Saturday, showing off their talents from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Summer Youth Music Festival is being organized by the Tampa Bay-area nonprofit Cordero Music in collaboration with Project No Labels. The event will feature more than 30 bands and performers, as well as more than 20 local vendors and food trucks.

This Independence Day celebration Saturday at Zephyr Park offers a vendor market, pony rides and a petting zoo, food trucks, bounce houses, games and contests, live music, and fireworks at dark. The event runs from noon to 9 p.m.

New Port Richey 4th of July Hometown Extravaganza

This July 4th celebration kicks off the city of New Port Richey’s year-long centennial celebration Saturday. There will be live music, food and a fireworks display. The event runs from 4 to 9:30 p.m.

The Publix ice cream truck will make a stop in Tampa on Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Sparkman Wharf.

Juneteenth & the African Cultural Connection
