Woman Arrested Following Fatal Hit-And-Run In St. Pete: Police

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Authorities have arrested a woman in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash in St. Petersburg.

Rosalyn Fuller, 58, of St. Petersburg, was arrested Sunday in connection with the June 25 crash that claimed the life of 62-year-old Kathy Repke. She was charged with failing to stop at a crash involving death and tampering with evidence, the St. Petersburg Police Department said in a news release.

According to police, Fuller was identified as the driver of a Honda Odyssey that struck Repke when she was crossing the road in the 6900 block of 4th Street. Police said Fuller left the scene without rendering aid or contacting police.

Repke, who was in a marked crosswalk at the time of the crash, was taken to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, where she was pronounced dead.

Police identified Fuller as a person of interest shortly after the crash. After speaking to investigators about the crash, a warrant was issued for her arrest, police said.
