2 Dead, 4 Injured After Dispute Leads To Buckhead Shooting

An escalating physical dispute prompted a fatal shooting in the 2100 block of Peachtree Road, police say.

BUCKHEAD, GA — Two people died, and four others were injured, in an early Sunday morning shooting in the 2100 block of Peachtree Road, police said.

Atlanta Police responded around 2:30 a.m. to a shots fired call at Peachtree. Officers found six people who had been shot, and two of them were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The other four people who were shot were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and were expected to survive, police said.

The shooting was the result of a physical dispute and was not a random act of violence, police said.

It is unknown if anyone is facing charges in connection with the shooting.
