Crash On Martin Road Leaves 21-Year-Old Dead

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal crash that happened at 3 a.m. on Sunday morning on Martin Road.

CUMMING, GA — Forsyth County deputies are investigating a fatal crash that left one person dead.

At 3 a.m. on Sunday morning, Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and fire department were called to a single vehicle crash on Martin Road near Cordova Lane.

A gray Chevrolet Silverado was driving west on Martin Road. The truck ran off the roadway and struck a tree near the curve in the road between the Settingdown Road roundabout and Cordova Lane.

The driver, Glenn Worley, 21, of Dawsonville, was pronounced dead at the scene.

This case remains under investigation. Speed and alcohol are considered to be factors.
