Motorcycle Driver Dead After Fatal Crash On Buford Dam Road

A 33-year-old man has died after his motorcycle crashed with another car along Buford Dam Road, according to the Forsyth Sheriff's Office.

CUMMING, GA — A 33-year-old man has died after his motorcycle crashed with another car along Buford Dam Road, according to the Forsyth Sheriff's Office.

At 10 p.m. on Thursday, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department were dispatched to Buford Dam Road and Homeside Drive for a crash involving a car and a motorcycle.

The 2007 Kawasaki ZX600 motorcycle was driving east on Buford Dam Road and the 2016 Mercedes Benz GLE was heading westbound. As the motorcycle drove toward the Mercedes, it crossed the road lines and hit the front of the Mercedes.

The driver of the motorcycle, Joshua Waldrop, 33, of Dawsonville, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
