Man Killed In Dacula Shooting Identified

The man who died in a Dacula shooting Tuesday was from Lawrenceville, police said Wednesday.

DACULA, GA — A man who died Tuesday night in a shooting at Stanley Road has been identified as Steven Thomaston, 35, of Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County Police said Wednesday.

Officers responded to a person shot call around 10 p.m., when they found Thomaston dead at the scene.

Police said little information is known about the shooting, and detectives are following up on leads and the events that led to the shooting.
