Driver Found Dead With Gunshot Wound In Gwinnett Front Yard: Police

Gwinnett County police have identified a driver who they said crashed into a tree in someone's front yard.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Gwinnett police identified the driver who was found dead with a gunshot wound.

Officers were called to Rockbridge Road Jan. 27 for a single vehicle accident into a tree in a resident’s front yard, according to a news release. Don Wardlaw, 46, of Stone Mountain has been identified as the victim. Police didn’t have any other immediate details. The incident is under investigation.
