Georgia Forecast: Thanksgiving Week Weather

Good news, metro Atlanta — we've got some weather to be thankful for on the way for most of this coming week.

ATLANTA, GA — Add one more item to your list of things to be thankful for. It looks like metro Atlanta is in for a largely pleasant week of weather for Thanksgiving.

We'll be looking at highs of around 60 every day, with lows getting just a tad chilly, in the low 40s most nights. Thanksgiving Day itself is actually the coolest day in the forecast, with a high around 58 and and an expected low of 38 that night.

If you're traveling this week, the skies look to be mostly clear for you. Tuesday is the only day this week with rain in the forecast and, even then, we're only looking at a slight chance for most of the day.

Tuesday: Patchy drizzle with a slight chance of rain before 10 a.m., then a slight chance of rain after 10 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 59. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent. Tuesday night, a 20 percent chance of rain before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 60. Mostly clear Wednesday night, with a low around 40.

Thanksgiving: Mostly sunny, with a high near 56. Thursday night, mostly clear, with a low around 38.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 60. Clear Friday night, with a low around 41.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 63. Saturday night, mostly clear, with a low around 43.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 56.
