Georgia Weather Forecast: Freezing Nights Ahead

ATLANTA, GA — So, you know that springing ahead we just did? Well, you might not want to break out the tank tops and Bermuda shorts just yet.

Weather in metro Atlanta this week is going to feel like winter, as one more rainy day ushers in several days during which night time low temperatures are forecast to dip below freezing.

Wednesday may be the coldest day of the week, when a high temperature of 44 is expected to plummet down to 25 degrees that night.

Monday: Rain likely, mainly after 3 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 46. East wind 10 to 15 m.p.h., with gusts as high as 20 m.p.h. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Rain likely again Monday night, mainly before 2 a.m. Cloudy, with a low around 38. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 50. Northwest wind 10 to 15 m.p.h., with gusts as high as 25 m.p.h. Tuesday night, partly cloudy with a low around 28. Northwest wind around 15 m.p.h., with gusts as high as 25 m.p.h.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 44. Clear Wednesday night, with a low around 25.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 52. Partly cloudy Thursday night, with a low around 32.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 60. Friday night, a 30 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 42.
