Gwinnett County Fair Brings New Shows, Rides

The Gwinnett County Fair opens Thursday at the county fairgrounds near Lawrenceville with new shows and rides, and all of the trimmings that have made the annual event a “can’t-miss” visit for 60 years.

New this year are three thrill rides — Zero Gravity, Space Roller and Disko — added to the list of nearly 60 rides. Also, new shows have been added: Bounce OOO LaLa and Daniel, Circus Incredible and Magic and Survivor shows.

The fair runs from Sept. 11 to Sept. 21 at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds at 2405 Sugarloaf Parkway

The fair is open 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays, 11 a.m. to midnight on Saturdays and 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays.

Admission is $5 (ages 6-64), $2 (seniors). Children under 6 are free. Parking is free.
