Gwinnett County Schools Ramps Up Recruitment Efforts, Still Gap

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA β€” Gwinnett County Public Schools has hired more teachers this year than a year ago, reported the Atlanta-Journal Constitution.

The Gwinnett school district has increased pay and began offering bonuses as a way to increase recruiting efforts, but staffing gaps still exist, reported the AJC. The pandemic has created difficulties with hiring and retaining teachers, district spokeswoman Sloan Roach told the AJC.
