Gwinnett Restaurant Inspections: Dunkin Donuts, Firehouse Subs

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Thinking of going out for a bite to eat? Then check out these inspection scores for restaurant and food-service operations conducted over the last week in Gwinnett County, including all of Suwanee.

Almost all 28 restaurants and food-service operations inspected over the last week passed, half with "A" grades and four with perfect 100s. However, one restaurant — Dunkin Donuts on Sugarloaf Parkway in Lawrenceville — scored only a 63 and was rated "unacceptable." A link to that restaurant's inspection report is posted with its listing below. Low scoring restaurants typically are given a second chance and reinspected a week or so later.

How They're Rated

Each item on an inspection form has a point value ranging from 1 to 9 points, with violations deducting points from the best possible score of 100. Higher points are taken for items with higher risk to cause illness, while repeat violations take even more points.
