Gwinnett Police Searching For Thief Who Stole Nearly $40K Of Jewelry

Gwinnett County police are searching for a man who stole jewelry from stores in the Mall of Georgia and Sugarloaf Mills in December.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA β€” A man who stole nearly $40,000 worth of jewelry from three Gwinnett County stores is wanted by police.

On Christmas Eve the man robbed Helzberg Diamonds at the Mall of Georgia, reported WSB-TV. He also robbed the Diamond Ring Company at the Mall of Georgia and the Jewelry Box Outlet at Sugarloaf Mills in December.

Police describe the suspect as a white man between 30 and 40 years old, who weighs between 180 and 200 pounds. He is approximately 5β€²8 to 6 feet in height with brown hair. He has a tattoo on his left forearm and another tattoo on the right side of his neck. The man also has gauged earrings in both ears.
