GWINNETT COUNTY, GA β€” A ride-share driver died after getting hit by a train Thursday in Gwinnett County, reported WSB-TV.

Duluth police told the news station they received calls around 5 a.m. about an SUV that was hit by a train near South Main Street. The SUV was found flipped over and the driver pronounced dead, reported WSB.

Witnesses told the news station a passenger got out after the SUV got stuck, but the driver stayed and tried to get the vehicle off the tracks.
