'Stranger Things' Now Casting Extras In Atlanta

ATLANTA, GA — If you look like you might be at home hanging around a hospital, your chance to appear on "Stranger Things" may have arrived.

The award-winning Netflix horror series is looking for extras for a "flashback scene" filming next week and needs extras to play doctors, nurses, receptionists and several kids' roles.

(OK ... to be completely honest the ads just say this shoot is for "a popular Netflix series set in the 1980s." Which is filming its second season. In Atlanta.)

According to the casting call, the flashback scene will be set in the early 1970s and there will be a mandatory fitting for all talent on Monday, February 6.

Men and women should have hair that can be styled to look like it's from the late '60s or early '70s, the call says.

Here are the roles:

• Female Nurse. Caucasian only. Ages 25-60. No real experience necessary, but a plus. Rate: $68/8 hours. Shoot Date: Thursday, February 9 and/or Friday, February 10. Subject Line: 1970 Nurse.
• Male Doctor. Caucasian only. Ages 35-60. No real experience necessary, but a plus. Rate: $68/8 hours. Shoot Date: Thursday and/or Friday, Feb. 9-10. Subject Line: 1970 Doctor
• Female Clerical/Receptionist Types. Caucasian/Asian/African American. Ages 30-50. Rate: $68/8 hours. Shoot Date: Thursday and/or Friday, Feb. 9-10. Subject Line: 1970 Receptionist
• Featured Girl. Indian heritage. Age: 10. Rate: TBD (More details will be given if producers are interested in auditioning your child). Acting experience is a plus. Shoot Date: Thursday and/or Friday, February 9-10. Subject Line: 1970 Featured Girl
• Toddler Twins. Identical twin toddler girls. Brunette. Must be able to walk. Rate: $72/8 hours. Shoot Date: Thursday and/or Friday, February 9-10. Subject Line: 1970 Toddler Twins
