Thunderstorms, Winter Weather Possible In Dacula This Week

A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for Dacula ahead of possible storms.

DACULA, GA β€” Dacula residents are warned to be wary of thunderstorms and wintry precipitation this week, according to a hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service.

The area will see a slight chance of thunderstorms between Wednesday and Thursday nights. Winter weather could also come to the area over the weekend, but the forecast remains uncertain, according to the NWS.

  • Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of rain is expected despite partly sunny skies with a high temperature near 64 degrees. Temperatures will fall to around 43 overnight.
  • Wednesday: Chances of rain on Wednesday increase to 40 percent as mostly cloudy skies prevail and temperatures climb to around 57 degrees. During overnight hours, showers could give way to a thunderstorm after 1 a.m. Temperatures will drop to around 48 degrees.
  • Thursday: Showers and the possibility of a thunderstorm continue Thursday as temperatures climb to 61 degrees. Temperatures will drop to around 46 degrees overnight as showers continue.
  • Friday: Precipitation will taper off throughout the day as temperatures climb to 54 degrees. A slight possibility of showers will remain overnight as temperatures drop to around 39 degrees.
  • Weekend: Slight chances of showers will continue on Saturday and Sunday with temperatures ranging from a low of 33 to a high of 48. Slight chances of winter weather are also possible during the weekend, according to the NWS.
