Turn 2 Tournaments Gives $4,300 For Youth Scholarships

The Gwinnett Parks Foundation received a donation of $4,300 raised from the Gwinnett Invitational Tournament held by Turn 2 Tournaments for the Youth Sports Scholarship Fund. The Gwinnett Invitational, a Grand Slam Qualifier, was hosted at Harbins Park, Lions Park, Rhodes Jordan Park and Rabbit Hill Park on May 23 and 24. Turn 2 Tournaments is a travel baseball tournament group hosting Grand Slam World Series Qualifiers in the Metro Atlanta.

The Youth Sports Scholarship Fund annually offers financial assistance to families registering for youth athletic programs through a need based qualifying application process. In 2014, more than $9,600 was awarded to families providing an opportunity for children to participate in youth athletics in Gwinnett County. The Gwinnett Parks Foundation would like to thank Turn 2 Tournaments for their generous donation and continued support of youth sports in Gwinnett County.
